Finally after so long the new version of this app is working now. The old version stopped working two years ago, no update or fix for it till I found this one.

Radio, video, are arranged in a reasonable manner. And I do love the functionality of multi-languages
Balanced news coverage in a fair and seemingly unbiased way, and without any apparent underlying agenda. Being VOA, I wondered if there would be a slant or propaganda push in a lopsided way. I was pleasantly surprised to find worldwide news of a wide range of things which seemed quite neutral. The readers intelligence was respected enough to allow one to come to ones own conclusions. This was a pleasant surprise. I live and work outside of my home country, so the world news and regional news (as well as home country news) is what I was looking for. I still read other news sources, but come back to VOA regularly. It helps me fill in the blanks of other sources.
I love that this app is available in so many languages. I use it to read articles in Chinese to keep my language skills sharp. Keep up the good work and thanks for the wonderful app!
Some bad moments
VOA can never be compared with BBC. Too much music, not much news.
I wish we were still able to listen to the programs (press conference, international edition, VOA global...) at any time like before and not only during live !
This is one of the best news appt. that I love to read. I love it. It cover the news in every corner of the globe. A wonderful news appt. indeed.

A very user friendly app. It used to crash. But now its awesome
I dont know why I havent downloaded the VOA app until today, its the best news app yet.
Its customizability is compared to none.
When ever I listen to VOA Amharic nightly program by Birhan, Alula, Addisu, & Solomon; it just brings back my old memories when I used to listen VOA with my dad.
Its my number one news source right now, be it local or international news. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to get informed, while at the same, get entertained.
